this morning benny requested a certain shirt and i have my suspicions that it's because he wanted to button all of his buttons. he did them all by himself. i got to sit and watch. it really was great to watch benny struggle and figure out a system to get everything buttoned on his own. he's done this before, but this was the first time i got to see him work it through.
from just over a week ago - the first time benny buttoned his own shirt - not perfect, but he did it!
from later that day (after quiet time). he found another shirt (one of andy's) to button.
from this morning.and yes, benny did get a haircut in between these pictures. that was our activity last thursday morning.
it was about time.

Great job with the haircut. I cut Harper's hair in October and can't bear to do it again it turned out so badly.
