Sleeping Janie

I did a very, very wonderful thing from the day we brought Jane home from the hospital.  It was an idea I got from Bethany and it is pure gold.

For daytime sleeping, Jane slept in a pack 'n play in the family room up until she was old enough to sit up and pull blankets down and interact with everyone around her.  She learned to sleep through so much noise!  It has been wonderful.  It worked so well that we finally had a kid fall asleep on the floor while in perfectly good health!  Honestly, I don't ever remember that happening with any of our children.  Spencer says it may have, but it would have been extremely rare.

We will keep this idea around for all future children.

Saturday night Spencer and I went to a banquet for the "graduating" third years from the IM program he's been working with this year. This is what I found when checking on the kids that night.
