Two things

1. I love that Anne knows what the trash can is and can throw things away on request. And she loves helping. This also means, however, that I occasionally find something there that doesn't belong. Thankfully her repeated trips on her own usually only happen when I'm in the kitchen for a while. I think. Who knows what I may have let get thrown away.

2. Last week at the grocery store there was an older lady watching the kids and me while we were in line to check out. The kids were having fun around the cart and I, thankfully, was okay with kids being kids. This lady came up and said how blessed I was with four children. I was so grateful to be able to agree and was grateful to her for going out of her way to say something. She said she was only blessed with one of her own - after being told that she would not be able to have children. And now she had a grandbaby ("Finally!" she added). One of those moments that really reminds me to work more to be grateful for all the wonderful blessings we have. I am grateful for the many tender mercies like this one with which I have been blessed. God is kind.

Wow. I usually don't get kind comments from people about having three kids.
I had to laugh at the trash can thing. Abigail threw away one of my favorite movies a couple of months ago. So frustrating!

Yeah, I didn't think Ellia threw away anything behind my back until I lost my cell phone and found it in the bottom of the trash :(
