Route 66

I remember when we first moved here and went to OSU-COM (Spencer's school). I saw on the sidewalk a sign for Historic Route 66. I thought that was great and knew I wanted to get a picture before we moved. Well, we were only about a ear from moving when I finally got the picture. We had gone to the school for the Class of 2012 time capsule "ceremony."

I remember talking to Bethany at one point shortly after we moved and she said they lived close to Historic Route 66 (this is when they were in Fontana, CA). We tossed out the idea of taking a trip along the route and meeting somewhere in the middle. Not very practical, but it would have been an adventure! Now they're in Denver and we don't have anybody to meet along our way - and we'll only be here through June (10 1/2 more months is all!!). Maybe someday. But more realistically not. Still fun to pass by every now-and-again.

Side note: I can't believe how big all the kids look in this picture! And that was three months ago.
