Pre-baby list

Before Jane was born I learned the benefit of creating a pre-baby list. A list of things that I truly want to accomplish, but things that are not essential to get done on a specific time-frame. The night before Jane was born, Spencer and I were on a date and I remember telling him that I would be just fine waiting another week because I had some things on my list I would really have liked to get done. We know how that turned out. Now I make an actual list and it contributes to my mental well-being no matter when Bany makes his/her appearance!

As you can see, most things got crossed off! The list includes

-finish Lilia's quilt
-make fabric pumpkins
-clean bathrooms
-mop kitchen floor
-cut boys'/Lilia's hair
-make freezer meals
--chickpea noodle soup
--minestrone
--sweet potato/black bean enchiladas
--tortilla soup
--enchilada casserole
--creamy potato soup
--tamale casserole
-Baby's stocking quilted

I got everything on the list done! I did amend the meals list, but I got several of those done!

Tamale casserole (frozen without the cornbread).

Teriyaki chickpea.

Minestrone (4 or 5 big bags worth).

Benny's haircut.

The only things that weren't completely finished were the fabric pumpkins. I did get two done for us and one for a friend, but I've got more I want to get done.

It is definitely worth it for me to make a list. I am so grateful for how well it worked!
