i'm really not one to talk about food storage, but it's something at which i would like to be better. my mother-in-law is signed up for 'food storage deals' that gives you information on deals at different grocery stores (smith's, albertson's, ream's, macey's, and harmon's). i don't know if this is limited to just utah or not. there is a subscription fee (i think it's just one time), but it looks like it's really worth it. check it out here. i also suggest checking out this lady's blog here - make sure you scroll down to see her food storage supply in her basement, absolutely amazing! if you only check one of the links, check the second. read through the blog and it will motivate you to go to the first.
i don't know who this lady is, but she's all about building up your food storage one week at a time. check her out. hopefully we can all get better at being prepared.

I need to become that lady's neighbor so when there is a natural disaster my family will have something to eat! Holy cow she is amazing...I really need to get my food storage! Thanks for the post...building up your food storage one week at a time makes it sound so easy!
